A NORTH Cornwall council have announced that the town’s public toilets have been temporarily closed.

Bude-Stratton Town Council announced on March 8 that the town’s Tourist Information Centre public toilets have been closed due to a blockage.

A spokesperson for the council said: “We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.”

This comes after the area’s other set of public toilets were also closed following extensive vandalism.

The Foyer public toilets have yet to reopen following the damage.

A spokesperson added: “The extent of the damage means that repairs are taking longer than initially expected and therefore we are unable to provide a specific timeline for reopening. We will update everyone as soon as we have more information.”
