LONG-AWAITED plans for the redevelopment of a skate park have come a step closer as a contractor is appointed.
The skate park facility at Bude-Stratton Town Council’s Crooklets Beach will be redeveloped by CANVAS Spaces, following a ‘comprehensive tender process’.
A spokesperson for the town council said: “Bude-Stratton Town Council is delighted to announce the appointment of CANVAS Spaces as the contractor for the redevelopment and enhancement of the skatepark facility at Crooklets Beach.
“Following a comprehensive tender process, CANVAS Spaces was selected for their innovative approach and commitment to creating vibrant, community-focused area. With a history of skatepark innovation dating back to 2013, their team of professionals promises a redevelopment that will cater specifically to Bude's unique community needs.”
