A North Cornwall town is set to play host to four days of fun to see out May with activities for all the family.

Camelford’s ‘four days of fun’ will see events held across the town for the family to enjoy.

The festivities begin on Tuesday, May 28, with the lighting of the beacon with music from ‘Back on Nights’ beginning at 7pm.

On Wednesday, May 29, a community three churches walk will begin at the bandstand at 10am and comprise walking past three of the town’s churches, with a ticketed afternoon tea event hosted by the mayor held later that day.

Other events on the Wednesday include a lego building event and community pool session at the leisure centre.

On Thursday, May 30, an event held by Camelford Up and Running will invite the community to join them in a fun run, with a teddy bear’s picnic, rubber duck race, dog show and circus skills workshop among the other events taking place.

On Friday, May 31, a skateboarding competition and Brownies bingo will be held, prior to the four days finishing with a ticketed music in the park event.
