THE Royal visit from the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall – Prince Charles and Camilla – are amongst the stories in this week’s Cornish and Devon Post Series.

The Royal duo were in North Cornwall on Tuesday morning where they met locals and watched a dance performance from 180 local school children.

Elsewhere, we hear from teenager Lowenna North after becoming just the fifth person and the first teenager to swim from Eddystone Lighthouse to Plymouth Hoe.

There’s also news of a new councillor at Bude-Stratton Town Council, pictures and a report from Delabole Carnival and the announcement of Marhamchurch’s Revel Queen.

On a more serious note, we hear about a meeting on water quality in the River Camel as well as a Bradworthy resident who has appeared in court to deny claims of doctoring a will.

There’s also stories from Launceston Inner Wheel, Launceston Lions, Launceston College’s young scientists plus much more.
