TWO World War II enthusiasts and exhibitors from Holsworthy and Tavistock are raising money to help save a military museum - by living in the 1940’s for a fortnight.

Pam and Laura, better known as the Homefront Kitchen Girls, tour different events with their large display of WWII food exhibits and other artefacts seeking to educate and entertain with live, interactive displays.

They have joined in efforts to raise money to save the Bodmin Keep military museum by setting themselves the challenge of living off of rations for two weeks.

Aiming to raise a minimum of £500, the duo will each live on the 1941 rations while wearing full 1940s clothing, for a fortnight.
