THE Easter Open tennis competitions at Launceston, Wadebridge and Bude run by tennis coaches James Brobin and Rachael Stacey were all well attended and blessed with good weather.
The Launceston Open had a great mini-tennis entry especially by pupils from St Joseph’s School. Josh Thomas won the red event and Ruben Mudd the orange and green.
Both Josh and Ruben attend St Joseph’s and have additional lessons at the Launceston club.
The junior boys’ winner was James Cattell from Wadebridge and the junior girls’ winner was Sarah Goodhart from Sussex.
The Wadebridge Open was sponsored by Cole, Rayment and White estate agents.
Ruben Mudd and Ben Bryant from the Launceston club took the honours in the orange and green event.
The Bude Open saw a win in the orange and green event by the very promising Oscar Davey of Bude.
The junior boys’ was won by Albert Shepherd of Bude and the junior girls’ by Annabel Ferguson from Launceston.
