CORNISH Pirates have welcomed Adam Brooks as the latest member of their owners’ consortium.

Brooks, owner of Brooks Financial Planning, joins Richard Wastnage, Martin Hudson, Phillip Champ and Anthony Whyte as a joint owner of the club.

His arrival follows recent investment from J. Kenneth “Kenn” Moritz and John H. Tippins, while broadcaster Nick Knowles has also become a shareholder.

Adam has worked in financial services throughout his career, including spells with major banks and wealth managers, before taking ownership of Brooks Financial Planning in 2019.

A long-standing Pirates sponsor, his company features on the club’s playing shirts and training kit this season.

Adam said he was excited about the future and believes the club is “building something very special” for Cornwall, adding he could not wait to get involved.
