ANOTHER successful competition day for Dragon Taekwondo Academy, Halwill Junction.

Nine students and their coach travelled to Southampton for the South of England championships on Sunday, October 11, where 275 competitors, across 12 categories, did battle.

For the club’s competitors it was probably the toughest competition since the club was established in 2007.

Despite the very level of competitors, which included international players, the Halwill Club students still managed to return to Devon with two gold, two silver and six bronze medals.
