EXETER Chiefs duo Immanuel Feyi-Waboso and Henry Slade have both been named in England’s new elite player squad for the 2026/27 season.
Both players retain their places in Steve Borthwick’s 25-player strong group which features new faces such as Northampton Saints lock Alex Coles and Sale Sharks’ Asher Opoku-Fordjour.
The news comes in the aftermath of England’s summer Nations Series campaign which featured wins over Fiji and Argentina in July.
The contracts form part of the men’s professional game partnership, designed to support the preparation and development of players for the England men’s team.
The 25 contracted players are selected from the wider 50-player EPS squad.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs will partner with Paignton-based sportswear brand, VX3, for the 2026/27 season.
Ben Lovell, MD of VX3, said: “Working with Exeter Chiefs has been a long-standing ambition for VX3, given the close proximity of our two organisations and our shared roots in the South West. The opportunity to partner with one of the most respected and successful clubs in English rugby is incredibly exciting for everyone at VX3.
“The club’s rich history, strong identity, and continued ambition both on and off the field make Exeter Chiefs an ideal partner for us. We are particularly excited by the club's vision for the future and the opportunities that lie ahead as we work together to support players, supporters, and the wider Chiefs community.”
Chiefs’ commercial director Catherine Hill added: “We are delighted to be partnering with VX3. As a business, we like to work with local suppliers, and you could not get more local than VX3. I’m excited to build on the relationship we have already cultivated in such a short time.”
VX3 will not only design and manufacturer the kits and replica kits, but also a full range of leisurewear.
