IMAGINE the scene. You enter the doors and there is a friendly welcome from those inside the vast walls of a building, where there is also a sea of sparkly trees, all lovingly decorated.

While it could be considered a moment from a film or an old Christmas themed fable, for the visitors to the Holsworthy Christmas Tree Festival, held inside the Church of St Peter and St Paul, its exactly what awaited them.

35 trees were decorated by local businesses and groups, representing the great and good of the proud community town, while festive cheer was further enhanced by the kind, warm greetings from the event’s volunteer stewards.

Even the hardest nosed grinch would struggle to leave without festivities in their heart after this annual event.
