IN-vehicle storage equipment manufacturer, Bott Ltd, has secured £800k supplemental term funding from Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, to help it expand its manufacturing facility in Ashby de la Zouch Leicestershire and build new office facilities in Bude.

Bott Limited is one of the UK's leading suppliers of vehicle storage equipment primarily for light commercial vehicles. It offers a complete project management service, ranging from the movement of vehicles, design and installation of electrical and storage equipment, to the design and application of vehicle graphics.

The new office in Bude is the administrative head office and main production facility, for the company's industrial and fleet storage solutions. 140 people are based at this location, providing sales, manufacturing and administrative services.

The site in Ashby employs 120 staff and markets and installs vehicle storage solutions, in conjunction with a smaller site in Cumbernauld which serves the Scottish market.

Simon Fry, Bott Limited Financial Director, said: "We made the right decision when we turned to Lloyds TSB for help. We are pleased with the relationship that Andrew Smith and his team have built with us. They have become trusted advisors and put in place the financial facilities we need to make further investments for the long-term future of our business.

"The new facilities in both Bude and Ashby will help us to continue to streamline our business. The buildings, coupled with ongoing investment in new technologies, will enable us to become more efficient and improve the market-leading service we offer our clients."

Andrew Smith, Relationship Director, Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, said: "We are very pleased that we have been able to support Bott Limited and invest to help its continued development and expansion.

"Despite the continuing challenges in the credit environment, our involvement clearly demonstrates that we are still supporting strong businesses and the motor sector across the UK."

Bott Limited was incorporated in 1977 and was later fully integrated into the Bott Group in 1996 after a successful trading relationship with the now parent company, Wilhelm Bott GmbH & Co.KG.

Wilhelm Bott GmbH & Co.KG started in 1931 and is a leader in the supply of metallic furniture and storage solutions throughout Europe.

With over 260 UK staff, Bott Limited is a significant player in a European Group, now employing in excess of 750 people across three manufacturing sites and a fully integrated European sales network.
