BUDEHAVEN Sixth Form student Gabrielle Woolner has been successful in her application to The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She will travel to London this autumn to follow 'The Foundation Course in Acting'. RADA is a well-known institution and numerous famous actors have emerged from it; these include Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay, Glenda Jackson, John Hurt, Anthony Hopkins, Alan Rickman and Kenneth Branagh. The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) offers vocational training for actors, stage managers, directors, designers and technical stage craft specialists. Gabrielle' chosen course will provide a rigorous and in-depth training, while at the same time asking her to reflect on her suitability for this type of training and ultimately a career in this field.
