BUDE Jive Club got together to raise £180 for the Robert Johns Leukaemia Fund on?Monday, February 23.

Held at their weekly club night at the Parkhouse Centre, Bude, members generously provided prizes for the raffle as well as tickets to enter the draw themselves.

The club regularly offers courses of 'beginners and improvers' lessons, and there are often guest instructors who give lessons for the 'improvers'.

They have fast gained a reputation as a friendly club and has a very varied social diary supported by Rock 'n' Roll club members throughout the South West.

On a typical Monday night, the hall is set out with various rock 'n' roll memorabilia by club members to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere with classes running from 7.30pm to 8.15pm for beginners, free dance from 8.15pm to 8.45pm, 8.45pm to 9pm for intermediate members and free dance again from 9pm until 10pm.
