AN illustrated talk by Rob Wolton about the magnificent hedges of Cornwall and Devon — their history, wildlife, management and uses — is due to take place in Bude this month.

Rob is a founder member and current chair of the Devon Hedge Group. A former chair of Hedgelink, Rob lives on his family farm near Hatherleigh. He was once an ecologist, working for Natural England and its predecessor bodies.

The talk, entitled ‘the wildlife and history of the magnificent hedges of Cornwall and Devon’ will take place on Monday, November 21 at 7.30pm in the Parkhouse Centre, Bude. It will cost £3 to attend, which includes tea and coffee.
