Men’s Section

Grouse Greensomes — Sunday, September 23

THIS competition used to be played as a straight alternative shot foursomes, but this year it was played as greensomes, which means the partners in each pair both hit from each tee and they then choose the best tee shot and play alternate shots from there.

The format ensured a tight contest which saw Les Clements and Derek Medland and Glyn Saunders and John Doleman both finish joint first on 38 points.

However both pairs could not be split using the normal rules of countback, so a tie was declared.

Seniors Section
