Dominant Bude hit nine in season opener

BUDE put in an outstanding performance to secure a convincing victory against Duchy Seconds at Pool Academy.

From the first whistle, Bude looked confident and determined, putting pressure on the home side and creating several early opportunities.

Bude’s attacking play was excellent throughout the match, with quick passing, strong movement off the ball, and great teamwork helping them break through the Duchy defence. Chloe Hall had a terrific game in front of goal, scoring an impressive hat-trick and constantly causing problems for the opposition.

Naomi Hatcher also made a big contribution, scoring two goals as Bude continued to build their lead. Izzy Sobey added another two goals with some excellent attacking play, while Charlotte Kingdon and Caroline Hockridge each found the back of the net to complete Bude’s nine-goal total.

Although the away side were dominant in attack, their defensive performance was just as important. The whole team worked hard to win the ball back and stop Duchy from creating clear chances. The midfield linked the defence and attack well, helping Bude maintain possession and keep the pressure on.

As the game went on, Bude continued to show great energy and determination. Everyone contributed to the result, with players supporting each other and working together as a team from start to finish.

The final whistle brought a brilliant win for the visitors, rounding off a fantastic team performance. With nine goals scored and a clean sheet secured, it was a match to remember.

Bude’s next game sees them host Caradon Fourths this Saturday at 12 noon.
